Unique Tracking Capabilities

Midland Steel is a Cares Approved supplier, we operate a full quality assurance system and are the only cut and bent supplier in Europe to offer a full traceability system bar mark by bar mark. We have the capability to track any reinforcement bar on site, from the element it is placed in i.e. Column or slab through the fabrication process in our factory, and back to the mill from which it originated to the original cast it had been made from.

- Delivery Dockets & Cares Certificate can be emailed prior to the delivery of your steel order.

This system ensures that a checklist is available once the steel arrives onsite. This service is unique to Midland Steel and clients find it extremely efficient and accurate.

In-House Haulage Company

Midland Steel own, operate and mange their own in-house haulage company, running a comprehensive fleet of Artics, rigids, & trailers.

Our haulage fleet consists of over 100 Trailers, more than 35 Trucks and 5 Rigids available nationwide & UK to offer swift delivery of supplies 24 hours a day to suit your needs.

GPS Tracking System

We have now installed the PDA system enabling us to dispatch deliveries through handheld PDA’s and monitor progression of deliveries giving our customers the most up to date information available relating to their delivery.
We are also providing the customer with a service where they can access copies of POD’s via a link on our website.

Each bundle of steel has attached a colour-coded cutting tag. This tracking system ensures that every delivery is accurate and timely and provides full details of the goods being delivered onto each site. eg. weight, size, diameter and quantitiy of the delivery, who made it, where it went etc...

CAD Design Work

We can provide full CAD design and detailed service information on all elements provided to you by our in-house engineers. All of our engineers are fully experienced on concrete frames, piling, prefabrication and much more.

Full Supply and Fix Package

Full Supply and Fix Package Midland Steel offers a full Supply & Fix package. We have in excess of 200 experienced fixers available to offer either prefabricated elements directly from our factory or steel fixing onsite for larger projects. We provide a full range of accessories for the construction industry

Exclusive Product - Special Mesh

Through our new partners Van Merksteijn, Midland Steel are now in a position to provide a comprehensive range of Special Mesh of bar diameter up to 20mm mesh format in any centres required to 8mm.
20x12, 16x16, 16x12, 12x12, 12x10
Sheet sizes are available in 6m x 2.4m & 12m x 2.4m.

The Special Mesh is ideally suited to walls, slab, stair core and lift shafts.
